claiming funds after selling items for the first time

i am a first time seller received funds from seller i clicked on claim payment from email shows up on my paypal that it has been paid by buyer still not showing up on bank account after 10days help! have i forgotten to do something else for my funds to be released into my bank account.

hi the same problem happend to me you have to you have to complete bank set up..(to prove its actually your bank) it should say sumwhere on the paypal page once you have logged in complete bank setup... you have to submit that then they put something like 3p in your bank and you have to confirm how much they have put in takes about 2-3 working days... hope tht has helped

The instructions about how to find what masonandmia has suggested is below -

We’re introducing a new and improved Profile to some customers. Until all customers are using the new Profile, there are 2 sets of instructions on how to do this. Please follow the instructions that match what you see on the site.

You can confirm your bank account by following these steps:

1. Go to www.paypal.co.uk and log in to your account.
2. Click 'Profile' near the top of the page.
3. Click the 'Bank Accounts' link in the 'Financial Information' column. (Don’t see this step? Follow the instructions below.)
4. Select the bank account you wish to confirm and click 'Confirm'.
5. Click the 'Set up Bank funding' button.
6. The next page will display your bank details. Enter the full address of your bank account then click 'Submit'.

1. Go to www.paypal.co.uk and log in to your account.

3. Click 'My money'.
4. Click 'Confirm my bank now' near the top of the page.
5. Click ‘Confirm’ next to the bank account you want to confirm.
6. Click the 'Set up Bank funding' button.

PayPal will send two random deposits, between 1p and 99p, to your bank account. These deposits are at PayPal's expense and you'll find them on your online bank statement within two to three working days, or on your next paper statement
