Hi everyone,

I'd like to apologise about the delay in giving an update on this. We have been investigating your queries and responses.

Nowadays, we aim to withdraw money to your bank within 2 hours of you initiating it from your PayPal account. This is much faster than before.

However, our system delays a small amount of withdrawals for security reasons. These will usually take 21 hours to complete, a very small amount can take 72 hours. These will show as being “under review” in your PayPal account.

You can find the small print in our UA in section 6.2.b.3.

P.S. While I hope this sheds some light on the situation, I understand your frustration and confusion. I’ll make sure to forward your feedback, too.

I am having similar issues, as I withdrew funds from Paypal account to bank on 27th dec and the status says its completed but it still doesn't appear in my bank account.

im trying to with draw money from paypal to my bank as have done b4 but now its saying add back account and when i do its says already on this paypal but wont let me with draw again how can i resolve this plzzz x

for me the problem is definitely paypal's mobile site. If I use my ipad to withdraw funds it places it under review, if I  use my laptop it goes through immediately, without fail. I read a reply from David the moderator back in october that they thought this might be the problem, suggesting people try their computer but I don't understand why there isn't a notice on the top board, it would save people alot of grief.

Of coarse it's ridiculous that a company the size of paypal doesn't have a fully functioning mobile site but at least while they sort it out, if people were informed, they could get quick access to their money. Having had continous reviews everytime I made a withdrawal throughout October using my ipad, since I have used my computer I haven't had one review. There's no way that's a co-incidence.

I know im new to ebay but I cant understand WHY I get up on my screen withdrawals will be in my account 2 hours and then when I click Im told it is under review and will take 72 hours.  I telephoned up paypal and was told that the reviewers decide when I can get my money quicker and it is purely up to these people.  That really is not acceptable.  A friend of mine gets her money within the hour every time.  I dont think this is fair and we need to have some good reason or a one for all ALL FOR ONE system so that no one is treated any differently.  Can someone please clarify this for me.  Im completely bemused by it all.

Hi i have tried to withdraw funds from paypal to my bank but it says pending (only £15) i need it for shipping a package earlier on in the day i withdrew almost £60 with no problem at all so why hold the £15 doesn't make sense at all to me this is just pathetic i emailed paypal and got a rubbish robot reply paypal need to get this crap sorted i have contacted my buyer to explain why the hold up on sendint the item is and they are having the same problem with paypal so i got quite lucky that they understand but that is not the point can paypal get this sorted asap please

I have 3 pending payments 1 over 72 hours all over 48. i have 100% f/back and never a dispute. awful system.

I I tried to transfer £17 across yesterday. It has not yet been put into my bank account..but the status says complete? Is this just a glitch? Whe can I expect the money to be in my account. I can see this is an ongoing issue and would like to know when it will be rectified. Thank you for your help In advance

Might aswel start asking ebay'ers to send us cheques, or faster payments bank transfer.
