Hi everyone,

 

I'd like to apologise about the delay in giving an update on this. We have been investigating your queries and responses.

 

Nowadays, we aim to withdraw money to your bank within 2 hours of you initiating it from your PayPal account. This is much faster than before.

 

However, our system delays a small amount of withdrawals for security reasons. These will usually take 21 hours to complete, a very small amount can take 72 hours. These will show as being “under review” in your PayPal account.

 

You can find the small print in our UA in section 6.2.b.3.

 

P.S. While I hope this sheds some light on the situation, I understand your frustration and confusion. I’ll make sure to forward your feedback, too.

Hi everyone, Im trying to withdraw money into my account but for the past few days it has said 'the server is currently experiencing some difficulty please try again later' Is anyone else having these difficulties?

Yepp, I am facing the exact same problem and it has been over a week now ! 

 

Tried to transfer the money to my banck A/C just a few moments agao and again the same message appears- "The server is currently experiencing some difficulty please try again later' Is anyone else having these difficulties ?"

 

Please fix this soon ! Is there any other way through which I can transfer the funds into my Bank A/C ?

hi did anyone get an answer from paypal regarding the server error that keeps occuring when withdrawing money or adding a bank account?

Just read your email of 21/09.

 

Payment in my account is maked "Completed" and yet its still not in my bank account. Payment for item was made on 21/09, today is 25/09.   I'll see if goes into my account in the next few days.

Hi, I just tried to transfer my funds from my paypal and got a message saying my bank has rejected this transaction, I have just spent nearly 30 minutes on a mobile ringing my bank to get told that there are no issues with my bank or bank card and that its down to paypal as there have been numerous amount of calls to my bank with customers haveing the same problem. I have been charged 4 times for failing this transfer from paypal to my bank. whats going on and when can i do this transfer please?

I've got the same problem, tried various amounts and nothing goes through,  Bank details have now been removed and when I try to put them back in it says I need to call as they need more verification, after an hour on hold my battery has died!

 

Tried to use a different bank account and it's not taking those either so now Im gonna have failed direct debits on my bank account because I can't move my money over!

Hi I have just rang paypal and the guy has told me its not down to our banks its a glitch at paypals end, when you get a message saying your bank account / card details have been deleted ignore it as this is a technical problem with paypal at present. Paypal are refunding customers with the charge fees they have been charged and they say to refresh your paypal to see charges have been refunded into our paypal accounts. He did say NOT to try and do the transfer from paypal to your bank until 24 hours as you will keep getting charged.
So wait 24 hours and try transfer again. Hope this helps

yup same here! been charged like 3 times already for trying to transfer £20 to my account?!!??

Just been told that my transfer didn't go through on the two occassions I tried, none of my details at the bank or my PayPal account have been changed.

 

I have been charged twice for the transaction returns and told my bank account has been disabled from my PayPal account!!!

 

And to compound that when I try to ring the customer service number I am told the number isn't recognised!!

 

Anybody know what is going on?
