Problem Withdrawing money from paypal to my bank account.

On Saturday, I sent 150$ USD from my Paypal account to my M&T Bank account, the notification said 3-4 business days for that to happen, which is fine. Well I wake up this morning and to my suprise paypal says the transaction is complete already. So I log into my bank account and the money isn't there. Now is there more time I have to wait for my money to get to my bank? Because right now I don't have 150$ in my paypal, nor in my bank, and im starting to get frustrated even though it says the transaction is complete. Please help me.

Withdrawals WILL be up to 72 nours, as from past days experience I can tell you that it will be at least 24 hours to have the transaction in "Completed" stage.

Usually my money will appear instantly in my bank account but this time it has taken a long time, how long will I be waiting - I am in dire need to pay bills today or face some problems with my landlord

Can be up to 72 hours, but if its going to be more than 24 hours you normally will be sent an email.

How they can work this way with my money? I already verified my bank account what they must review now?

I am a business seller and have been for years. Transfers usually take 'up to 2 hours'. Last week it changed to 'up to 24 hours'. This week it has changed to 'up to 72 hours'. So now my postage time of 'within 3days' cannot be met as I will not post until the funds have cleared. With paypal playing silly games, what is to stop them putting a halt on the transfer after 2days and me having already posted it? This is a big con by paypal when you consider they will be holding £millions at any one time.

Well - the next stage. I have just contacted Paypal who explained that this happens when there has been a problem with the account. After checking back Paypal confirmed that there has never been a problem and that my account has always been run in a good manner. There explanation was that they did not know why this 72 hour transfer had been placed on the account. They also said that they could not guarantee that it would not keep happening. They also said that there is nothing that they could do about it.

I asked for £39 to be sent to my bank account on the 17th august and that is still pending. On the 18th I asked for 0.41p to be sent to my bank account which was also pending a review but the 0.41p has benn sent which was requested a day later and the £39 is still pending, WTF is going on!!!!!!!!!

After talking with a service rep for a lenghty amount of time, it seems paypal do this 72hr hold to make sure they are making there customers happy!!!!!  I have had no valid reason for this to happen, they keep talking about there security programme???!!!! well I think they need to scrap it and enquire about a new programme that doesnt take **bleep** with custiomers money for NO REASON!
