It's a bit more than 72 hours actually, it can evem=n be 80-82 hours. Keep in mind that after it says "completed", it takes 2-3 working days to reach your account.

Withdrawals WILL be up to 72 nours, as from past days experience I can tell you that it will be at least 24 hours to have the transaction in "Completed" stage.

I have this PP account for a month (as of today actually). I know there are a few "concerns" for new users, for security reasons. One of your consultants told me that the pending duration for a withdrawal could be because of this. But she said "it could be", nothing certain. Where can I find some certain information? I could really use some harsh lines like "we do this because you're new on paypal" or "it's your country's fault", or anything that could put some peace on my mind. I know I lost my temper today on the phone, but as I said, I work for every penny I receive and it's pretty frustrating to just stay and wait for the money because paypal keeps my withdrawals in pending for days. Does this kind of measure applies only to new accounts or it something new which affects everybody (judging from the other topics and so many complaints).

If you see "Completed" on your withdrawal, then it's up to your bank to make the transfer. I'm guesing about 24 hours or a little bit longer. It could take up to 3 working days for some banks.

Would you be so kind and tell us why does it takes up to 72 hours to do a "random security check on random accounts"? My transfer reaches into my bank acount in less than 24 hours after it says "Completed" on the transaction, but my problem is the time that takes from "Pending" to "Completed", as I've just been exaplained that this is a security measure. Is this "verification" done manually?

I just got off the phone with a PayPal representative, she told me that the maximum time frame for reviewing the payment is 72 hours, then it could take another 72 hours for the money to reach into your account. I repeat, this is the maximum period of time. I usually withdraw money on Monday or Tuesday and I have it on my card on Friday. Funny thing though, my wife has a PP account also and when she would make a withdrawal, the status would go to "Completed" in a few hours. For me is different, I see "Pending" for days on my withdrawals. They say this is a random security check done on random accounts, but I have my doubts and I think it has more to do with the country you are from. Later Edit: my transaction is now complete, after that phone call... I have nothing against being hold on "Pending", I just want to know how long does it take so I can organize my withdrawals according to my plans (bills, travels).
