Hi!
I need to add some funds to my paypal account, so I can pay my ebay shoppings. But when I do that, after clicking the button , the message is :
" On January 1st, 2016, PayPal Instant Top Up service in Romania will no longer be provided by TrustPay (not on December 18th, 2015, as earlier communicated). Should you decide you do not wish to use PayPal anymore you can close your account immediately without incurring any additional charges by following these steps:
"Log into your PayPal account at www.paypal.com
Click Profile near the top of the page
Select My Settings
In the “Account Type” section, click “Close account” and follow the instructions"
What is the solution? There must be another way. I commited to buy these products and now I can't pay them, they will block my ebay account for not paying.
My banking account is in Romania and there are funds on my debit card.
What can I do, how can I transfer them the money for the purchases?
Thanks!

Why do you need to add funds to your paypal account balance to pay?
If you have a funding source linked to your paypal account then normally paypal take straight from there.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.

Hi coryna1ro,
You don't need to have money on your PayPal balance to be able to make a payment as long as you have a card added. We will deduct the amount from your card and send it on to the seller securely. You can add most cards issued by Visa, MasterCard or American Express.
Here's how you can add a card to your account:
- Go to www.paypal.com and log in to your account.
- Click Profile near the top of the page.
- Click My money.
- Click Update beside ‘Debit and credit cards.’
- Click Add a Card.
- Select the card type and enter the required information.
- Click Add Card.
Hope this helps 🙂

This solution doesn't work. I have already added a card that I use it until 29 January 2016 since 2013. Now I can't make payment or withdraw money from Paypal because TrustPay it's not a partner of PayPal anymore. Since 01 January 2016, I can't add money to my account and from 01 February 2016 I can't use to add or withdraw money from credit card. So..... soon they will close the Romanian account? I can use only the balance from PayPal account. But now the balance is 0 and I want to make the purchase. I can't believe PayPal doesn't have any solutions for this.

Hi Xeroxcenter2013,
Thanks for posting in the community forum and apologies for the late reply. Sorry to hear that you are having these issues. Please note that at the moment the option to add funds is not available, but as advised by Sophie, you don’t need to add money to your PayPal balance to send a payment. You can use your card instead. You can withdraw money to your card or to a US bank account if you have one. You can find more about the features available in Romania in the following link: http://ow.ly/YzC9D
Thanks,
Jessica

Hello Paypal people, if the service can not be available please let us know straight away instead of telling someone that you do not need to top up your account. We are the user and we know why we need them and not you. Let me give you my example. My bank card issuer allows my card to pay only 4 transactions per day but no limit on amount. My business is to buy (by bid) a lot of small items like rings from different sellers and therefore if there is no limit I can buy from 10 to 20 sellers every day and be sure to pay them. but since payment to one seller is regarded as one transaction to my card issuer then I have to only buy from 4 sellers everyday. The solution would be for me to top up my card once and use them as long as I want.
So If you cannot sorve it just accept that it is imposible and not try to tell us what we already know.
I would like to get reply from paypal people please.
