Funds pending?

Hi - I'm new to PayPal and only dine a few transactions. I transferred a payment from PayPal last night to my account and it says pending it said at the time normally takes 2hours? How long does it normally take please? Any help would be great. Sorry not too familiar with the process x

To provide one of the safest online payment methods PayPal reviews every withdrawal before it is approved. Occasionally, we may hold a withdrawal if there may be a higher-than-normal level of risk associated with the transaction.

When a withdrawal is held, this is not a reflection of you or your account activities. Our internal security system is an automated system which reviews all of the details of every withdrawal that is made through PayPal. This is similar to the way your bank or credit card issuer approves transactions.

For fraud prevention reasons, I cannot see what aspect of this withdrawal has caused our internal security system to intervene. Neither can I override or manually change the security settings to allow your withdrawal to go through immediately.

Once the review has been completed the funds will be available in your bank account within 72 hours.
