I am having difficulties updating security information including second factor authentication details. I think part of the problem is that I have a US PayPal account but am now living in the UK. Hence my mobile telephone number format, for example, appears wrond and the system denies my changes. How can I tell my US account that I am now in the UK? So far I have been able to update my address.

Hi gkorchinsky,
Thank you for contacting the PayPal Community Forum and welcome as a new member!
PayPal Accounts are country specific, this means that when you selected the US as your country of residency the system automatically set the US Country code on the account. These details cannot be changed therefore although the address has been updated the country on your address will still show the US and the phone number country code will still reflect +1.
Please create a new UK account and you will be able to add in the correct details. Once this is created and verified you can set up the 2 Factor Authentication.
