finding old accounts that have discontinued email address's

Hi all I have a problem I am trying to set up a new account but paypal wont accept my bank details it says the account is in use on another account. But the only email account I used to have is now discontinued and I can't access it any help would be appreciated     thanks in advance

You'll need to talk with customer support in real time to resolve this. You can get their number by going to the paypal home page, clicking contact us, then clicking through until the option to call appears

Depending on the status of your unused account we may be able to remove your bank account. You will have to call us though so we can locate the correct account and verify that you do own the bank account.
