company number - business registration number

Having tried several times to solve this problem I resorted to calling them on 08707301880 and spoke to someone there who has sorted it out. They are well aware of the problem and have had numerous calls which begs the question why haven't they resolved it on-line?

It needs to be 8 digits. So if you pack it with 0's it should work. For example

if your number is 1234567 then you enter

01234567

Of course it doesnt tell you this in the field tool tip... for reasons best known to themselves!

Posterpigeon is right, the business registration number needs to be 8 digits long so you just add zeros to the front to make it 8 digits.

Hi,

Can somebody please confirm where I put my business registration number?  I have had constant reminders to add this information to my account.  I have scanned and faxed the number to PayPal with no response.  Help please.

Hi there StoptheDrop,

To complete the 'Supply Additional Information' form you will need to:

1. Go to www.paypal.co.uk and log in to your account.
2. Click 'Profile' near the top of the page.
3. Click 'Update' in the 'Business information' section, then click ‘Edit’.
