change of country/currency

I used to live in the UK but moved back to Australia.

My paypal account is still linked to my UK bank account. I want to add an Australian bank account but the only currency option is supplies is eith GBP or US Dollars. How can I add an Austyralia account without starting up a whole new Ebay account?

Hey there, PayPal maybe global. But we must also comply with financial regulation in each country that we operate in. For that reason, only UK based financials can be added to a UK account. The same principle applies for Australian accounts. It may well be the case that you will have to open a new Australian PayPal account. I appreciate that may be awkward. But if you were to close your UK account, you could still use the same e-mail address again on the new account. The verification process should only take you a few days to complete.
