Update Information

I'll ask the question here since I've emailed Paypal 3 times and received no reply.

A few weeks ago I recevied an email asking me to update my info. I assumed this was a scam so ignored it. A few days later I missed a few payments, so I checked my account and found that my account has randomly been limited.

When I log in, I'm taken to a screen with the following message -

You'll need to provide updated information to continue to use your PayPal account. Your account will be restricted until we receive this information. This means you can't send, transfer or receive funds.
You can update your information in our Resolution Centre.

There's also an orange button saying "update now". When I click this button I am taken to the resolution centre where I am presented with the following message -

Limited Account Information
  1. Your account is still limited. Why?

When I click this link I am taken back to the previous page. Its just a circle.

I have no issues in my resolution centre. I have absolutely no idea why my account has been limited as I've received no contact from Paypal. I also have no clue what information they require.

I want to get this sorted ASAP. Anyone else had this problem before? Maybe I can actually get some help from a Paypal employee?

Hi Chris2k121,

Welcome to the community forum and thanks for posting.

It sounds like your account has reached certain receiving and sending limits. In order to provide the necessary information to lift those limits, please access your account. click on "See how much you can send with PayPal" at the bottom left side of your account and follow the instructions on your screen.

Hi Intars,

I don't see "See how much you can send with PayPal" anywhere. Which page is this on? I've looked throuh summary, money and all profile setup pages, still can't see it anywhere?

Thanks.

Thanks for that link.

The problem I have now is I know what information to send but no idea where to send it? I'm assuming I send it to a specific email?

I have also found that when I click business setup then lift limits I'm taken straight back to my summary page. I don't see how that could be right?

Hi there,

Please Keep in mind that the PayPal Community is designed for user to user advice and not customer service for PayPal. You should see the option to upload the information in the Resolution Centre. If you do not see the option please reach out to our customer service on Facebook, Twitter, email or phone.
