Name Change as now married - No access to scanner or fax????

HI,

I am now married therefore have changed my surname.

I need to transfer my funds from the paypal account to my bank account problem being my paypal account is in previous name and my bank account is in my new name. To change your name on a paypal account you need to fax or email them photo id and certificate, problem being I have no access to a fax machine or a scanner.

How can I sort this?

Hi there stephkeyte,

If you do not have access to a scanner the alternative is to fax these documents to us.

The number to fax the documents to is: +44 (0)8707 303198 with the Attention: Name Change Department/Global Name Change.

If you do not have a fax machine you can try taking a photo of these documents with your digital camera and uploading them to your computer this way and then to PayPal.

what do you mean upload on paypal? I thought it can only be done by fax, not by email. could you please tell me where should I send it by email? Thanks!

If you wish to change your name on your PayPal account please click on the help section and type in "name change". 

You will then be given some online instructions on what documents you need to change your name and an option to upload the documents to us via our secure webform.

there is a upload option next to the fax option, you can upload a scanned image
