I can't seem to change my primary address, even when I enter another address and say "make it primary". Also -- Is the other email address shown just a backup? And is the primary email address also my username for logging in? The site doesn't explain any of this.
OK, I finally managed to get my primary address changed. But is this now the address I sign on with? And the other email address shown in my details -- is that just used if my main address is inaccessible?
I'm finding it impossible to change my primary email address, so would be very grateful if you or someone else could tell me, please? The Paypal help says to click the delete beside it-but there isn't one!
There's only a Delete button if you have more than one address. You can't delete primary if it's your only address.
I think I eventually sorted my addresses out -- but it would have been much easier if PayPal just put separate edit button next to each address, as they do fior postal addresses. Also they could tell you how to confirm your address (you just have to guess that "unconfirmed" is a link for doing that).
