Changing address after moving abroad

Hi, I recently moved to Spain after having registered paypal with a UK address and when I attempt to update the address so that i can register a Spanish card it does not let me. Is there a way that I can do this, if so your help would be appreciated.

Hi there xavaloy,

When you move to another country, you need to close your old PayPal account and create a new account using your new address. It is not possible to change the country registered to your address.

If you reside in both countries, you can keep your old PayPal account and create a new one, but only one of your accounts (if any) should be a Business account.

how do i do this if i want to use the same email address as i dont think i can use the same email address for 2 accounts can i as ive just moved to AUSTRIA and want to do the same thing

I have mooved from the UK to the USA I have closed all bank accounts in the UK. I have recently found out that I have funds in my pay pal account and I want to transfer account details to my new address and access funds. how can I access funds and change my pal pal account to the USA without a bank account

If I sell stuff on eBay and use a personal, non-business account (this is what I have been recommended), based in the UK and then I move to Uruguay, how can I open an account in Uruguay that uses GBP and move all of my money there (so I can continue to be able to sell goods to UK-based buyers)?

What if someone has several businesses. One in one country, one in another. Do PayPal rules make it forbidden for them to have several PayPal accounts?

Is there any way to 'link' PayPal accounts in the same way how someone can check two different bank accounts when banking online?

Hi there chesterrex,

It is not possible at this time in order for you to have the same email address registered on two different PayPal accounts. If you have moved to Australia, you could consider closing the account that you had registered in the UK and you could then register a new account in Australia with your email address. This will work for you without any problems and you will be able to use your email address on your new Australian account.
