Can't register UK bank account or UK Visa card with a French billing address...

Having lived & worked for over 30 years in the UK, I have a longstanding UK bank account (first direct) and associated UK VISA card.  I have now moved to France.  The bank is perfectly happy with my French address.

It would appear that since there seems to be no way to enter a non-UK address on the PayPal UK site, it will be impossible to register (update actually) or use either.

Am I missing something or has PayPal decided not to accept this type of user?  PayPal's choice of course, but if so, why not make it ultra-clear that this is the policy.  I've tried to read though the T&Cs but couldn't find words covering this.

So, a simple question: on PayPal UK is it posible to register a UK bank account & UK VISA card with a the address in France the bank has on file?

If yes, instructions please.

Paypal is country specific so if you move country you have to open another paypal account in that country and add an address / phone number / and bank accounts from within that country.

The only exception is U.S users can add their bank accounts to other countries paypal accounts if they are living or working in that country.
