Money pack question.

   I was wondering how the money pack works exactly. First of all can I use it to shop online without needing to have bank acc or credit card info? Second if so are there limits to the amount of money I can deposit and spend? I'm planning to use this to buy computer parts that will probably cost anywhere between 500-1000 $. I'm not sure if this will happen with you, but this is what happened to my mom's account. It's unverified. We bought a moneypak for 480 dollars. To add over 250 dollars you need to provide social security number, so she did. But when we tried to buy something, she received an email from Paypal saying you have a sending limit of 0 dollars you nust verify. On the account it says the sending limit is 480 dollars. I'm not sure why this happened, because even Paypal says you don't need a bank account/credit card to use Moneypak with paypal. So I'm not sure if this will happen with you, but this is what happened with my mom's account.

I just discovered that Green Dot limits using a Money Pak to reload a PayPal debit card to $250 a year.  There's no limit to reload their cards....just PayPal.  I found this out the hard way when they wouldn't honor the $20 Money Pak I purchased.  After raising **bleep** enough to finally get a Green Dot supervisor I was able to get them to give me a temporary debit card (which is just the number....no plastic)...otherwise I would have been out $20.  So the limit is Green Dot....not PayPal.
