I can't find payments from October, 6 months ago

I'm working on my taxes. There's a PayPal transaction on my bank statement from 10-04-2010 (6 months ago) that says I paid $9.94. I can't find evidence of that transaction in my e-mails, and when I got on PayPal to see what it was, I only have the option to go back 3 months. Seems like customers would need it to go back through the entire previous year, for tax purposes at least! What can I do to see my transactions from October? I'm trying to find certain transactions from PayPal to know what account to put them in using Quicken, and if they're tax deductible.

Hello Taxpayer,

Welcome to the boards!

We do have a feature to allow you to download your PayPal transaction history.

Here are some helpful instructions:

You can download your transaction history into Quicken, QuickBooks, or into a spreadsheet application. From the 'History' page, you can download your account's History log:

  1. Click "Download History," which appears in the "More" drop-down list.
  2. Choose the date range of transactions you'd like to download and select the file type you want to save your History as.
  3. Click "Download History."

Hope this helps!
