Hello!   With the information you are providing, it sounds like everything is perfectly fine.  The seller's refund did not complete, and the emails sent out are standard emails for that scenerio.  With there being a claim, the funds were paid out from the Purchase Protection.   We will not pull the funds back off of your card.  The case should be closed at this point.  🙂   Lilly ... Hello TheChief73,   Welcome!   Sorry to hear you had to go through all that 😞   When you get a chance, can you check in your PayPal transaction history to see if that transaction was reversed back to you?  The funds would go to back the credit card if that was your original form of payment.    It's possible that the refund didn't clear the seller's bank--and the system would send out that email, however our Purchase Protection should kick in & refund you.    If you can check out to see if the refund applied still, that would be great!   Hope this helps,   Lilly ... You would need to have the funds in your PayPal account from a purchase, or if someone sent you money.  It's different from having a line of credit.    This is just the amount of funds you can withdraw out of your PayPal account.  If you are mainly using your account for sending money, or making purchases, you won't need to worry about it 🙂   Lilly ... Hello dakotasarkisian,   Welcome!   One of the cool things about PayPal are Instant Transfer payments.  When you have a bank & credit card registered to your PayPal account, and you fund with your bank--your seller doesn't have to wait to get paid.    We front the funds to your seller while the funds are processing at your bank.  So, it's quite possible your bank wasn't debited, but your seller was already paid!   Hope this helps to explain,   Lilly ... Welcome Joe2012,   Your withdrawal limit is the amount of funds you can withdrawal from your PayPal account.  So let's say you receive $600.00 in payments into your account.  If your limit is $500.00, you would only be able to withdraw that amount, until the limit resets (the limit resets on the anniversary of your account monthly).    You can choose to completely lift the limit by completing 2 of these 3 steps:   Confirm a Bank Account Link and confirm your debit or credit card Confirm Social Security Number (An EIN cannot be entered in lieu of a social security number.) Hello Brookelyn,   If the original transaction you sent was funded by your bank account, the funds would go back into your PayPal account balance.    No worries though!  You can withdraw the funds back to your bank account!   Here's how:   Log in to your PayPal account. Click “Withdraw” near the top of the page. Click “Withdraw funds to your bank account.” Enter the amount you want to withdraw.
