ive received an email stating that ive paid someone using paypal and it states my full name on it i checked my paypal and nothing has gone out for this person, is this fake, ive forwarded it to paypal as spoof but just wondered why my name is on
I am glad you were able to spot that the email wasn't from us. If we send you an email saying that a payment has been made you would see that in your account.
There are a few reasons it can contain your name. If the email itself has your name in it for example or if you use the same email address on social media.
