"you've updated your bank account details"

Just received an email from paypal (which appears genuine) stating that I've updated my bank account details. I haven't done anything of the sort!

I've checked my account and all seems correct. Is this normal? It's never happened before.

Have you changed banks recently? If you have, this could be why you received this email from us to your email address. If you have any concerns regarding the email you received, you can forward the email to spoof@paypal.com and then delete the email from your email inbox. We will then review the email further and contact you with an update and let you know if the email was genuine or not.
