My paypal account has been accessed... I can see deductions being made with no way to stop it.
Is there an emergency number outside business hours?

No but they should be open (see below), but you also need to file an unauthorised transaction next to each of the transactions via ''resolve a problem'' lower left of your paypal summary page.
For general queries, hours of operations are: 8am to 9pm Monday to Friday; 8am to 9pm Saturday; 9am to 9pm Sunday.
Click on the words "Contact" at the bottom of your paypal account summary page and use the phone option (if there is one in the country you are in) > click on the "call us" option on the left (fees "may" apply so check the cost with your phone tariff first, as you sometimes have to wait a while to connect).
When you get through don't select any options just hang on till you get transfered to an agent or say the word "agent".

Kudos / Solution appreciated.

Thank you... I've just changed my password... hopefully that will stop it... 7 unauthorised transactions apparently to Google in 10 minutes... though there is no record of it in my Google account page.
I'm amazed there is no "Panic' buton in PayPal to stop stop access.

I think they act quickly when you file an unauthorised transaction to stop further and try and stop those completeing.
Good luck.
May be a good idea to run an anti-virus scan on your computer / change the password on your email address as well and run a malware scan.

I'm using a Mac, but as it's virtually impossible to stop information sharing between programs, apps and internet browsers means nothing is safe any more.
Feeling irrisistably drawn back to my ludite roots...

It's now a coule of months down the track.
PayPal reimbursed my account.
My Googke account which, at the time was limked to my PayPal account, but not any more, had been hacked by someone whose identity Google is protecting, who found a way to buy stuff using my accunt without having to pass Googles 2 step verification process exposing Googles 2 step verification process an inconvenient time wasting excercise in futility...
Make something idiot proof and someone will build a better idiot.
