I received an SMS claiming to be PayPal from je-paypal.co.uk number 39107. I believe it to be fake, it says my account is locked and gives a link, however my account seems fine. Also, PayPal have never text me before and there is nothing, no warnings notifications etc... when I log in to the main PayPal site, here or on the app. Anyone know about this site or number?
Hello. I too have received an SMS purportedly from PayPal with a "bitley link". I imagine it is a spoof text but. payPal doesn't seem to have a number for forwarding these. Presumably they are not dealt with. Can you advise?...and please don't just refer us to a link about EMAIL spoofs.
