As everyone knows phone spam is a massive problem. So as a matter of policy I NEVER provide my phone number for any type of purchase (I don't even give my bank a phone number). If businesses want to talk to me then they can either email or use analogue mail (Postal service). I know some companies try and and say they need it for the courier - however I simply refuse and have never had a problem.
Last week I made a purchase and noticed that Paypal provided my phone number to the company, strangely enough in the last few days I have started receiving spam calls!
How can I stop Paypal forwarding my phone number?
