Managing my husbands account

Hi, Im a bit stuck on where to go next and thought it might be worth a try asking on here. My husband suffered a brain abcess and now no longer has mental capacity so therefore I have got a court order from the Court of Protection to say that I can manage my husbands finances and property. For other banks and accounts I have sent a copy of the court order to add myself as a deputy to these accounts to allow me to access them and manage them. I am unable to find a contact address to send this to and wondered if anyone could help? Thanks

I think you need to close his account and open one in your own name.

But your best bet is to phone customer service and chat with them about it  >>>

Click on the words "Contact" at the bottom of your paypal account summary page and use the phone option (if there is one in the country you are in) > click on the "call us" option on the left (fees "may" apply so check the cost with your phone tariff first, as you sometimes have to wait a while to connect).

When you get through don't select any options just hang on till you get transfered to an agent or say the word "agent".

I cant really close it as he has ongoing payments coming out of it- he used to be a web developer and he has his hosting charges come out of this account, I dont know all of the websites that he was hosting so Im not able to transfer these to my account but if I closed his account then it would mean all of the websites he is hosting would come down, and more than anything else I know the blood sweat and tears he put into them so dont think I could just destroy that. Will contact customer services though and see what they advise, thanks
