Paypal messages to wrong phone

For some reason I cannot fathom, my wife has started getting my paypal transactions appearing as messages on her phone.

I've checked my account and it's only my mobile number and email address connected to the account.

So how on earth has she started getting messages on her mobile for my account?

Thanks for reaching out to us in regards to this. 

I'm not sure if your wife is receiving confirmation notifications via text message or through Messenger. 

If she is receiving text messages, this would be linked to a mobile phone number on PayPal. You can check any numbers registered through the 'Settings' page on PayPal. You will be able to remove any phone number that is showing on the Settings page on your account.

If this is being received through Messenger, this can be disabled by following the steps that can be found here.
