I have recently sold emails on eBay and have received the funds from the buyers, but I can not claim them because for some reason I can't verify my accoutn on PayPal. I can't remember my password, and when I click to send an email to my email address, and follow the link to change my password, the link simply takes me to the PayPal homepage and i'm not sure what to do.
Hi, I'm having exactly the same problem and it's so frustrating because you can't do anything without logging in! I've had this problem before and it's impossible to get anyone to help. I hope someone's moderating this community so that they realise how unintuitive their website and instructions are. When you go through the password recovery process and when you’re on the page that tells you an email has been sent look at the last sentence on that page, it would be " If you still can't access your email account, we can try to confirm your account ownership by phone”
You can click on the “by phone” bit and access your account this way instead of the link in the email.
