Is there a way of stopping my email address being given out to buyers. I am fed up with continually receiving spam.
Every company i deal with i create a new email address, e.g company @ mydomain.com shop @ mydomain.com shop2 @ mydomain.com, that way if I start to receive spam to shop10 @ mydomain.com I know who sold my details.
I am fed up of receiving email to paypalxx @ mydomain.com I am almost getting to the point that for every purchase I make I will have to increment the xx number in the address, so i can find out which if my sellers keeps selling my email address.
I am ofcourse assuming that paypal is not continually floggin my details......
I'd appreciate a response on how paypal recommend I keep my email address secure from spam.

Hi there zimma,
There is no way to hide your email from buyers when using PayPal I'm afraid.
What you are currently doing sounds good as you will be able to see who is in fact selling your details. I can confirm it's most definatley not PayPal

I've got the exact same concern. Paypal shouldn't be sharing my email address with anyone, ever. Google Wallet has the option to proxy email from the seller, and you should, too.
