Replying to an SMS (text message) from 62226

I've just received an SMS from 62226 that begins "[Paypal] A £[...] GBP transaction with [...] on 6 March 2018 was marked suspicious..." and asking me to reply with 1 if authorised, 2 if suspicious. The amount and the seller/supplier name tally perfectly with a transaction I just made online, so the transaction itself isn't suspicious and I'm happy to authorise it. Paypal would be right to treat it as suspicious as I've asked the supplier to ship the item to a new address (my work address) rather than my usual delivery address (my home).

So , again, I'm happy to authorise the transaction. However, it's going to cost me to send an SMS back to 62226, but I can't find out how much it's going to cost.

Question 1: do I need to reply to the SMS- ie, will the transaction not go through (or be delayed) if I don't?

Question 2: how much is it going to cost me to reply?

Question 3: is there another (cheaper/free) way I can authorise the transaction?

Thanks in advance for replies.
