Email phishing?

I have received this email purporting to have come from Paypal. At first it alarmed me because I have no knowledge of the transaction to which it refers. However, I noticed that it does not address me by name. When I checked my PP account the transaction does not appear. The alledged seller appears to be a genuine ebay Merchant. Is this a known scam?

Go compare with a real receipt you have had and you will see the difference, i suspect the "access the resolution centre" bit is a hyper link that they want you to click on and imput log in info so they can hijack your paypal account.

I had an unusual email from paypal re ebay@lygoworld requesting £91.00 payment for something I had not ordered or received. Unfortunately I clicked on the resolution centre part of this email before I realised it could be a scam , should I now change all my password info at paypal

Hi Chriskinner,

I would recommend that change your password and security questions just to be on the safe side. There may be no cause for concern but I would recommend it anyway.

To change your password go to your Profile tab , click on "my details" and then click to change your password.

I hope this helps and thanks for posting
