Car purchase

Hi all,

Have found a car we'd like to purchase. It's too far away to view. The seller wants full payment via paypal and says she will offer a 7 day refund.

She has sent us a paypal invoice but im not convinced its genuine. It comes from paypal@customers-services and states that due to the amount £2300 it has to be paid in to a paypal account by bank transfer, where it is held until ive inspected the car when it will then be released to the seller. The account is a halifax account with a beneficiary name of Claudiu Rotar?! The person selling the car is called Lucy. Has anyone else had experience of buying a car through paypal in this way??!

SCAM. Paypal does not do escrow.

Also there is NO PAYPAL PROTECTION for buyers with motor vehicles.

Cash on collection and inspection of the vehicle FIRST.
