How to send a partial return to buyer?

Hello,

I sold an item on ebay but the buyer now wants a return. I first sent him a partial return offer but he declined. After communicating we agreed on a partial return amount but I no longer see the option to do a partial return on ebay or paypal. Thank you in advance.
