Hi there! So I had purchased something on eBay and I checked out as a PayPal guest since I wanted to use my credit card. I have talked to PayPal and they have already set up a case for me so that I can return the defective item. I got the email from PayPal telling me it is now time to ship back to the seller and that when I do I am to provide the shipment tracking number in the Resolution Center so that I can receive my money back. The question I have is how do I do that since I checked out as a PayPal guest initially.? The email says to log into MY PayPal, but yet this is not linked to my personal PayPal. HELP PLEASE!

Hi, @katykatmeow.
If the seller uploaded tracking, it can be found in your eBay Purchase History (http://www.ebay.com/myb/Summary).

No. I am sending an item back and the PayPal said I need to supply the tracking number for the RETURN in the Resolution Center.
Aha, I get you now...
Does PayPal give you the choice to print out a label? They should have that option..otherwise, you should just be able to go to the post office and buy a label (with tracking!).

Have you checked out the resolution center just to be sure of everything? See if there is a spot to enter a tracking number or if you can print a label off through PayPal.

She does not have a Paypal account, she used Paypal as a guest and paid with her credit card.
So there is no resolution center and no case open.
she has to call Paypal and tell them she has no paypal account.
Where did you buy the item,eBAY?
file on Ebay then
if not ,file with your credit card issuer.

Ok, so it is an Ebay transaction,I assume you have an Ebay account.
then go to My Ebay, look up the transaction and open a case of item not as described, wait for seller to respond,if not ,escalate to get Ebay involved,Ebay will send you a return label, use it to return the item ,then Ebay will refund your money.
No need to add any tracking, your shipping label comes with tracking.
Always file case first with Ebay,Ebay is more intune with merchandise returns ,besides you wil get a shipping label if item is not as described, once it has been used ,Ebay will bill the seller for the return shipping postage, you pay nothing/

YOU bought it on EbAY,do you have an Ebay account?
if so ,go to My Ebay under your Ebay account and go to buying/resolution center, file a case, then find the listing and file item not as described.
