So last month I sold an item on eBay, buyer paid and I shipped the item(no issues there). My auction indicated that returns were not accepted. Buyer contacted me about a return(Via eBay) and I responded that I would be unable to return item. Item sold was an automotive accessory that would likely require profesional installation. My listing indicated what vehicles it would fit along with a part number, I didn't mention that it was DIY friendly or not(as I would not know the competence level of the buyers), but searching via the part number would yeild the OEM installation instructions. Well on Jan 5th the buyer submitted a case via PayPal(PayPal only emailed my yahoo email, which I haven't used since the hacking incident that was recently revealed). Buyer submitted case as "not as described" which is completely false, but since I never recieved the emails(and the PayPal app never notified me) the case was closed in favor of the buyer. At this point is there anything that I can do? The fault should be with the buyer, as he failed to research the product that he was purchasing and I clearly stated no returns on my eBay listing.
Thank you

Your no refund policy does not outweigh paypals policy for items received but not as described
As an item received but not as described dispute it is often one persons word against anothers, so paypal tend to find for the buyer BUT normally the buyer has to return the item back to you first before you have to refund.
Did you get the item back?
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.

She did not get the item back as Paypal sent email to her Yahoo email address which she does not check.
She should update her Paypal profile so Paypal can send emails to an email address which she uses .
Since she did not respond to the case, the case closed in buyer favor, buyer gets her money back and keep the item.
there is no appeal .
