Firstly apologies if this is in the wrong place, this is my first post.
I sold an item in December for a total of £102 + £5.99 P&P. This was only offered to UK buyers with no options given for international postage. No insurance was offered and no tracking was offered.
The buyer paid straight away and I posted the item the next day.
The buyer is saying he has not received the item. I noticed his user account stated he was from Spain. The address given to me via PayPal was in England, so I sent him a copy of the English address. He told me this is not his address and he wanted the item posted to a Spanish address.
I entered the English address into Google and it is Global Shipping Centre, which a quick look on any forum seems to be bad news.
The buyer has now gone into dispute with me saying he has not received the item and he can not track the item and PayPal are holding my funds.
I sold the item 4 weeks ago and therefore no longer have my proof of postage.
Can anyone give me any advice? I might just send this straight to the PayPal claim as I don’t see why this is my fault.
I posted to the address I was told to, surely this cant be ruled against me?
Please help!

The global shipping centre is used by ebay so that UK sellers can sell internationally without the problem of finding out shipping costs etc.
However if a buyer does not receive their item then they deserve a refund.
Tracking is for your protection not the buyers.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
