PayPal stopped working on Ebay - gives error message

I've been using my PayPal account on Ebay for 2 years, and frequently for the last 3 months with no problems. For the last 2 days, when I try to pay for an item that I won on Ebay I get the error message: "Unfortunately, the funding source within your PayPal account was declined."   I have plenty of money in my debit account, it is not expired. I've been on the PayPal website and can't find any answers. the automated computer helper is useless. I have a $500 safety limit per month, but I've only used about half of it so far.

Same problem here, and the thing is that i contacted my bank and they said to me that i've been charged by "paypal sohgo avenue" the amount of 121,56 euros and my paypal account  doesn't show anything just as the seller of the item that i tried to buy, he said to me that he has no pending transactions....that happened on friday the 14th Sept.

Today I started using PayPal for e-bay shopping, and after few bought items I've got this message : "Unfortunately, the funding source within your PayPal account was declined."
My card expiration is not even close , and I have enough money on my card.

What is the problem then?

I have been experiencing this error since morning. I gone to my bank in order to check if there was any trouble, but I have funds and my credit card don't have anything wrong either.

What could be happening? When I enter to my paypal account, I says It didnt processed anything for today.
It never happened to me before and I have a few purchases I need to pay in Ebay.

Just made a PayPal account so I could purchse a few items on Ebay. I am finding the same problem.  My account is free to use my cc and there is no problem from my cc company. Please help!

Ugh, I recently bid for an item on Ebay.. I had never purchased anything on ebay, but I've purchased things using my paypal account, and it works fine..
  I won a bid, and I'm having trouble paying for them, I'm getting the same error "Unfortunately, the funding source within your PayPal account was declined".  I have enough money! 

  Seriously, this needs to be fixed, I want to pay for my won items as soon as possible.

i have been trying to pay for an item since last wednesday.... ebay autction, linked account..... Paypal chick is telling me its cause my account isnt verified... but that didnt stop my payment on 9/26, or 9/19.....
