"generic error" when trying to withdraw $7,500 to my bank, no help from PayPal

Hi Guys,

I received an investment about 5 days ago from one of my friends and everytime I try to withdraw it, I get "Generic error" and the withdraw fails. I called PayPal 5 days in a row after following their instructions and each rep has different instructions. I learned today from a senior account specialist that they are only talking points, and neither of them have any idea why I am being blocked, nor will they override it because apparently it is all up to the system, as if it has its own brain. Just sending the payment cost 800 dollars and I only used PayPal so I wouldnt have to walk out of a Western Union or Moneygram with 7500 in cash because thats sketchy and risky.

I'm beyond angry right now and I do not know where to turn. Have any of you had this issue before and how did you resolve it>

What is th genericerror when i am trying to withdraw my money this is just giving me genericerror?

It was doing it to me as well. I did like a poster suggested and hit send check and then fixed everything on the old school page and it went through fine. Also, (and I don’t know if this affected it) it went let me verify myself using my number on the old page because the phone is not registered in my name. I had to verify public information about myself.
