Click on the words "Help / Contact" at the bottom of paypals pages and use the phone option in the blue band at the top OR very bottom of page dependent on what country you are in. Scroll down past the list of help questions and click on 'Call us' bottom of that page. Log in and get the code.

When you get through don't select any options just hang on till you get transfered to an agent OR just say the word 'Agent'".

Don't know what pages you are able to look at, but NONE of mine have "Contact/Help" at the bottom, only "Help Contact" and "Security".  The only thing I get with the Help or the Contact button is the automated system which does not have my question, much less an answer.  I found a 855 number on here that seemed really flaky.  When the person answered he did not sound the least little bit professional and I could barely understand his accent and the phone connection was breaking up like it was a cell phone or something.  This guy (who sounded like he was in a basement, wanted me to give him access to my computer, hell I won't give Microsoft access to my computer.  If that is the only support that PayPal can offer, I will solve the problem myself and close the 10 year old account.  Thanks anyway.

My advice is correct, just done it myself again just now and had no trouble finding the telephone number, you have to scroll down below the automatic answers and its at the bottom of the page after clicking phone customer services.

I post that advice on a many times a day basis and folks come back to say thanks as they got through on the phone and sorted their problem.

If you can't then that is a problem with you not my advice...........as for you sayin and I quote...

Apart from the fact you are spliting hairs Help/ Contact was EXACTLY what I did say.

Is that your definition of help?  Being a smart A.  I'm just telling you what happens when I click on 04-23-18.  All that happened when I pushed the button was I was redirected to the Q&A section and put into a loop so that whenever I pushed contact us it looped me right back to the Q&A page.  I just tried it a few minutes ago and the button (almost) did what it was supposed to.  It flashed a message that had "Call Us" included in it and then went right to the "Call Us" page.  I have been using computers and building my own since 1978 so I take offense to you being such a smart alec instead of checking.  If you care (which it doesn't seem you do) I would bet money that they were working on the page today because they knew something was wrong.  It is real simple son, If you don't want to actually HELP people then why don't you just get a real job and stop insulting PayPal customers.  If you are upset at this then why don't you put me in contact with a supervisor and I'll work it out with them, but I am through being insulted by you.

Your welcome.......soooo glad I bothered to respond to your post and try and help you.

You are right it does flash up and show you for a second but it does not disappear, if you can't follow simple instructions then I guess there is not much point bothering with you anymore is there.

And nope they have not been working on the page as others have asked the same question over the last few days and been grateful for my reply.........guess they actually LOOKED at what i explained.

I clicked on help / support to check before I posted a reply and got the number with no problem.

And I have a 'real' job thanks but as for not helping folks then I guess the 10,000 that have left me kudos / solutions disagree with you  Smiley Wink

No one insulted you I gave you the facts you just couldn't work them out  !!!
