Stop future payments to Uber

I added my paypal to somebody else's Uber app.  They are abusing it, so I want to prevent future payments to Uber.  Uber does not appear in the list of pre-approved payments, so I can't cancel it from there.  How do I do this?

ETA: By the way, the latest Uber app will *not* allow deletion of a payment method, even if I could get them to do it.

Not sure you can.

Its totally against paypal rules to allow someone else access to your paypal account, you can phone customer services to see if they can help you but you risk your account being limited if you tell them what you did.  Smiley Sad

What does it mean to have your account "limited"?

When I did it, I thought that changing my Paypal password, which I've already done), would stop them from using it anymore.  It SHOULD stop them, IMHO.

Worst case, I delete this Paypal and make another.

I had no idea about the terms and conditions - if I read all that everytime I did anything, I'd have no time for anything else.  😞

Having your account limited can mean as simple minor restrictions until you submit some ID details to be totally restrictred from every using the account.

You can't just "delete" a PayPal account.  You would need to phone PayPal support and then it wouldn't  happen until all payments and and deposits are completed.  PayPal can withhold funds in case of a future dispute.

About the password, no idea what is required to access your account on Uber.

Eventually you'll likely have to phone PayPal support to address the matter and just accept the consequences.
