Hello PayPal community,
My situation is a bit particular and after calling the PayPal contact number, being on hold for a half an hour and then being hung up on I am reaching out here for a solution!
I am currently in transit in the United States between my previous home in France and where I am going to set up in Australia. I'm from the United States origionally and currently have bank accounts in both the US and France that I intend to keep. I will also be opening an account in Australia apon my arrival.
I would like to add my American bank account to my current PayPal account and eventually my Australian one when the time comes. I believe however, that I have a French PayPal account. I'm not sure though because the website address is .com but it won't allow me to add an American bank account or an American phone number.
The latter presents a major problem because I no longer have the French phone number connected to my PayPal account.
So I guess my questions are these:
Can I add an American and Autralian bank account to my current account? If so how? And if not what are the steps I need to take to have all three bank accounts connected to the same PayPal account? Is that even possible?
More urgently, how can I change my contact phone number from my previous French phone number to an American number on my current account PayPal so I can at least have the call back option when I am placed on hold by the PayPal contact helpline?
