My Account (without ANY kind of warning) was suddenly, randomly, 100% limited. I was irritated, but I filled out all the information and sent in all my personal information.
As a Freelance Illustrative Artist, I need this account to make cash exchange with my customers. I understand these things can take time, but after filling out all the required fields I was told Paypal would get back to me within 2-3 business days. It has been 8 business days (not counting weekend days), and I have not received any new information, nor do I know if the issue is even being resolved? I had no warning, no Email, no concern or message of any kind to tell me that Paypal was concerned about my account. I am suddenly unable to do anything mean while I have customers waiting to pay me for my services. What am I suppose to tell them? By the time this is fixed, I bet they will find another artist who's account didn't randomly get locked! I'm losing money, I can't take more commissions because of this, and I estimate at this point that I've lost a lot of money. Is some of my information wrong? Is something missing? Did I misunderstand something? I have no idea, no one has told me anything other than that I cannot do anything with my account. In the future, I suggest Emailing people who you have concerns about before randomly locking their account and leaving them in the dark. If this isn't resolved soon I might simply have to move to a new platform, and I assure you I will be letting all of my customers know about Paypal's 'service' so they can avoid falling into the same fate I have. Because some artist actually live off their art, and need paypal to make professional, safe, cash exchange.
I have tried sending a help desk ticket and instead of getting a response from an actual human being the machine copy and pasted an article from the FAQ which just told me how to fill out the form. Which is not helpful in the slightest.
