i have no transactions outstanding and no bank account linked to my paypal account and I want to close it. I've searched the forums and none of the instructions about how to close my account seem to apply. I go to profile, then settings and there is no "close account" option anywhere.
Are there new instructions for the 2016 version of PayPal?
Have you tried clicking "Classic Site" to see if you can close there? Be sure to click that every time you land on a new page so it will stay in the classic site version if needed.
