Hi,
On Oct 23th I sold a used bicycle.
Everything in the ad is perfeclty clear (year model, size, condition)
Mr. X asks me questions on the item and shipping fees.
Mr. X agrees on the conditions and asks for an invoice.
I send him a paypal invoice stating "no return & no refund"
He pays the full amount.
3 hours Later
He wants a refund because he said he needs another size (size was cleary written on the ad AND on the invoice)
I already phoned the carrier and scheduled pickup, and paid to have the bike packed.
I told him I could refund minus the fees I had to pay.
Mr. X wants a complete refund.
Seems like he wished I had already shipped the bike, he filed a Paypal litigation stating he didn't receive the item.
Am I being desillusional and will I be charged for a cancelled transaction ?
I believe it's the buyer responsability entirely and he should be paying for his mistake.

depending on your residence's local, there may be rules or regulations that oblige you to refund the client if the product is returned to you. This does not seem to be the case as mentionned in your post, so unless the amount has been credited to your account, you do not need to refund.
As for being credited for packaging fees, I think it would be difficult for you to justify a "restocking" fee, unless your state, province accepts this in their legislations. From my experience, you probably have to absorb this charge, unfortunately. Thankfully you have not shipped the item, so you are not losing on that portion of your investment.
