Hi

 I have lost my money, they never sent a laptop.

Took a payment through paypal.

What should i do to get my payment back?

I called paypal but they said they cannot put dispute because the seller has transmitted money as if I am sending it to friends and family. 

Please advise

 I ordered a laptop two weeks ago, they said you would receive it soon. I havent received any tracking details. Now,  if I try to chat on the website, i dont see the chat bar anymore. Seems that website admin identifies my IP address, and then dissappear the chat bar.

I sent him many messages but no reply. I have no shipping information and seller does not want to chat with me. 

I called pay pal and paypal does not want to take this as a dispute.

I strongly belive that paypal needs to do some more filtering in terms of money transfer, and should take this as a dispute and need to contact the person whom I have transfered money.

Your questions sounds very naive.

"How did you know it was for sale? " Lol that was too much!!!

I described everything in my post, if you still dont understand go to the website and experience yourself.

Paypal is not helping at all in such matter. Paypal is not a tool to tranfer money to any illigal party.

Describe the checkout process?  PayPal is saying that payment was transmitted in such a way similar to sending friends & family payment which has NO buyer protection what so ever.  It's important to know how checkout process was done.  There is a record of the transaction in your PayPal, right?  What does it say?  Helpful to have a screenshot of the transaction (block out any personal info, of course).

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM laptoXXXXXX.com IT IS A SCAM!!!!!!!!

I also got scammed by this website and Paypal refused to help for this same reason; saying payment was sent like it was going to friends and family even though it was not. Never got the item. Paypal must revoke laptops70off.com account, because the scammers know that Paypal will not refund the money.  The scammers are somehow switching a payment intended for goods and services into a personal payment. Paypal is used as a means to scam people out of their money and they should do something about this. Paypal should also vet websites and have a warning or rating system for potential customers.

Again, do not buy anything from laptoXXXXXX.com !!!!!
