buyer cancels transation?

This is the second time ive sold and item and the buyer has declined to pay. This second time, they are cancelling the purchase. They have not paid yet.

I find this loose policy very aggravating. I have always thought buyers were agreeing to pay just by placing a bid. They potentially blocked other buyers from bidding or winning this item.

What are my options now? I'd obviously love to sell the item. If I tell the buyer they must pay, will they give me bad rating? If I cancel for them, then i have to list it again and rack up more fees.

they are claiming that their girlfriend bought them a new item without them knowing. Not my problem.

You can't force a buyer to pay you.

All you can do is go through the non-paying bidder process to get your final value fee credited back.

If you go through that procedure any neg feedback the buyer leaves will be removed.
