Hi, sorry if this isn't the right place to post this. It's a little bit of a story.
My adult brother is an avid Ebay shopper. He buys items with Paypal, and the charges go straight to my mother's bank account. He tells her that this is a fluke, and he has a different account that Paypal should be taking money from, and Paypal stubbornly collects money from her bank account for some reason instead. This has happened several times over the last few years with a few large purchases happening this year. Just today, my mother tried to buy something only to discover there was no money on her debit because another one of his large purchases.
My question is if it really is possible for Paypal to collect money from a bank account that you did not select during the payment process? Like say, if there's no money in the account that you selected during the payment, will Paypal jump to the next account listed in your wallet to collect payment?
My brother has also said that he has removed my mother's bank account information from his Paypal time and time again. Is it possible for Paypal to collect money from a bank account that's been removed from your Paypal wallet?
