I had a transaction for digital content from ebay and the buyuer disputed the transaction 30 days after purchase. They disputed through their Credit Card. After sending all my evidence as this was obvious a purchase through ebay, Payapl gave the money back to the buyer. I could not leave negative feedback on ebay since it was past 30 days and the buyer got a free xbox one game. and I am out of my digital goods since paypal did nothing to help me.
I feel this is a loophoe that buyers are exploiting and taking advantage of. At least I know after 30 days I can get free digital items since PayPal is not protecting those sellers and this loophole should be stopped!

No loophole, just a failure for sellers to understand PayPal policies that online tracking for delivery is required for seller protection. Sellers of digital products accept risk of loss for lack of delivery proof. It's very clear in PayPal policies.

I would say a system where i can buy something and dispute the transaction to get my money back and keep the item I bought is a loophole. Now I know I can go scam someone for anything digital on ebay. If thats the policy cool! Thime to go shopping on ebay... ALL DIGITAL IS FREE!

I don't feel that digital gaming sellers like the OP are willing to sign up for the PayPal digital goods 5% micropayment rate because they sell at high value and the amounts covered is up to $10.
If these disputes do not happen a lot, just let it go. If they do, time to change the product you're selling. PayPal isn't stupid. They likely got the stats early on that such disputes be scams so they will not take the risk to refund the buyer and cover the seller too on these high value digital gaming goods. Heck, they'd be outta business by now if they did that. lol
Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂

WE ARE not siding with the buyer, read this forum, you are not the first or last to come and cry about unfairness of selling digital goods and get no seller protection.
There are buyers who take advantage of new seller,or low volume, inexperienced sellers to get goodies/
sell it on Craigslist or elsewhere you can ask cash or non credit card payment.
