has anyone else reccieved an email about unusual activity

Hi i have just received an email  supposedly from PayPal   saying they have noticed unusual  activity   on my use and have limited my account    and there   is a button to click on saying resolve now ?????  it also shows some  downloads  of something   i dont know what  its for      they say they just need some further info        is this a phishing email  ????????    and do i just delete  it or   send it to PayPal ??   i have done this before but never received   a reply   advising me what to do    so much for security   

what do you think   if i dont get some help i will have to close my account    as i do mot want to fall foul to scammers

Genuine ppal emails:

 

Always address u as Dear full name

Never ask u to click on links/downloads/attachments

Never ask for personal info

Never ask u to click on links from private emails

 

Always log in  via official site never from your private emails

If u have clicked on the link change your password and security questions immediately

 

You can forward to spoof@paypal.com then delete

Yes, I get these messages. I've received two today. Usually, I'll get around one a day, maybe one every other day.

 

I've forwarded most of them to spoof@paypal.com and get maybe one answer out of ten emails. The instructions say to forward on every email, but I honestly don't think paypal can care. There's too many of them.

 

So anyway, you're not the only one, I get tons of them too.
