claim for flawed merchandise

Just wondered if anyone can help me with an answer about flawed merchmerchandise. I ordered a shirt for my daughter. Turns out that I washed it before she wore it, packed it in our suitcase for holiday and when she wore it for the first Tim it had a hole in the sleeve. From what I can gather it is a seam coming I sewn. It's a fairly large hole and I can't sew it myself or I would. Also I was in co tact with the seller whim said she would be sending a return label, of which I haven't received.And now she won't respond to my messages. I'm wondering if I can come a claim or if it's even worth it. Will I get the option to return the item and get a full refund??? Thanks for any help!
