Why hasn't Paypal refunded my money?

I've filed a dispute and then escalated it to a claim.  The message I got, and still have is that the seller has 10 days to respond and that I automatically get refunded if they don't respond in 10 days.  Well, 10 days, according to the message, ended on April 26th.  It is now the 27th, and it still says it is waiting for a response from the seller.

 

Why does the waiting continue?  Other people have filed claims with this seller and they are getting their money back, so it would be nice to get mine before the seller's account dries up.  I just don't understand why everyone else is able to get their claims processed and paid, but mine sits in limbo.

 

EDIT:  I decided to finally call paypal on the phone and get this done.  The recording said that they were experiencing extremely high call volume at the time, but then a CSR came on the line about 10 seconds later. (Whew! ).  She told me they'll get it done today and I'll get my credit back in 5 days.  Again, whew! 🙂

Paypal give the seller 10 days to respond, they will then review and refund if appropriate within 48 hours of that time being reached.

I wasn't aware that it would take up to another 48 hours.  But I got an email from Paypal and it seems it's all done now.  Thank you, Kernowlass.

Its totally luck based paypal will give you back your money or not. I dont get my parcel, tracking number not working, and they close my claim...
